Madison Avenue, at the N. W. corner of E. 100th St. showing rural conditions prevalent in the locality known as "Carnegie Hill". Data on the reverse side of this print reads: Carnegie Hill--5th Ave. and 90th Street. Mr. Hoffman of the N.Y.H.S. identifies this location as corrected above, basing his conclusions from a view taken from atop the Ruppert house at 5th Avenue and 93rd Street. H. N.
