16 and 14-15 Gramercy Park South (left to right), south side, west of Irving Place. No. 14-15 is the National Arts Club building; formerly the home of Samuel J. Tilden, one of the founders of the New York Public Library. No. 16 is the home of the Players Club; former residence of Valentine G. Hall and later of Edwin Booth who founded the Club and presented them the house as a gift. June 1925.
