Manhattan: Gramercy Park South - Irving Place
Gramercy Park South, south side, west from Irving Place to Fourth Avenue where this thoroughfare resumes its identity as E. 20th Street. The vacant lot (No. 17) at the left was formerly the site of the former residence of Ambassador Gérard and will be improved by a low duplex apartment house according to the New York Times of February 25, 1938. West of same are the Players and the National Arts Clubs. The office structure seen at the right is at the S.W. corner of Fourth Avenue and E. 20th Street. June 10, 1938. P.L. Sperr
