Manhattan: Madison Avenue - 24th Street (East)
Madison Avenue, east side, south from 27th Street, showing the second Madison Square Garden, 1889-1925. Beyond it, on S.E. corner of 26th Street, is the University Club of New York, which occupied this building from about 1883 to 1900. The building, originally the Lawrence Jerome residence, still stands (1935), the home of the Manhattan Club.
