Manhattan: 1st Ave. - Allen St.

First Avenue and Allen Street, west side, south of East 1st Street, as viewed from the 2nd Avenue "El" platform. These two thoroughfares are continuous, with Houston Street the dividing line. Buildings on the right, between 1st and Houston Streets, are being razed preparatory to the 8th Avenue Subway construction. Subsequent to this, a playground will be constructed here.
